Readily3D
Readily3D developed a bioprinting instrument composed of hardware and software (Tomolite and Apparite) to make research in biosciences quicker and more efficient. Founded in 2020, Readily3D originates from a research work started in 2017 at EPFL (Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne). Tomographic volumetric bioprinting has been used to build functional hepatic constructs, anatomically correct porous bone models, multi-material perfusable bio-constructs, or even 3D pancreatic cancer models. Thanks to the throughput and repeatability of volumetric bioprinting, such models could be used in a near future for drug development. The scalability of volumetric bioprinting also makes it relevant for regenerative medicine applications.
